Cosmetic acupuncture is not new. As far back as the Tang dynasty (618-907 AD) Chinese Medicine modalities were developed to promote health, longevity and beauty. Your outward appearance, especially the face, reflects the status of your health. Acupuncture addresses and treats imbalances that cause the signs of aging so that you look and feel radiant. Cosmetic Acupuncture is based on Traditional Chinese Medicine. The system uses acupuncture points both on the face and body to address root imbalances to improve general wellbeing and increase the flow of qi and blood in the face. Chinese herbs are prescribed if additional support is needed. Although not as dramatic as a surgical procedure, Cosmetic Acupuncture can have a dramatic overall effect that looks healthy and natural. When the body is balanced, healing occurs and internal health radiates as external beauty. Simply put, Chinese Medicine is the best anti-aging medicine available.
Cosmetic Acupuncture Overview
Choosing acupuncture to optimize your appearance is natural, safe and the only cosmetic procedure that is also good for your health. The Facial Enhance Cosmetic Acupuncture System is a series of 10 treatments scheduled twice a week for 5 weeks. Prior to starting your skincare regime, a free consultation is scheduled to discuss the protocol in detail and answer any questions you may have. Following the consult an appointment for a full health review and balancing acupuncture treatment is scheduled. During this initial appointment, diet, lifestyle, cosmetic choices and herbal recommendations are discussed. Most clients can move directly to the cosmetic acupuncture protocol after the initial appointment and health review. Some individuals may require additional acupuncture treatments to correct existing health imbalances before starting the Facial Enhance protocol.
After completing the series of ten treatments follow-up appointments are recommended to maintain the cosmetic results achieved. The ideal maintenance schedule is 1 treatment per month and at a minimum 2 treatments (within the same week) every six months.
According to a 2014 statistics from the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the average cost of a face lift is a whopping $6,550.00!! That's only the initial lift and doesn't include follow-up maintenance procedures. A doctor administering Botox at a medical office on average charges $14-$17 per unit of Botox, or $600 to $1,200 or more for multiple areas. Injections are recommended to be repeated every 3 months!!! Isn't it time for a more holistic, cost effective, and natural approach? Well here it is...
